As one of the most distinguished women's college in Pakistan, St. Joseph's College takes pride in its high academic standards, its excellent curricular and co-curricular program and its personal approach to helping each individual student succeed.
At St. Joseph's College students pursue programs of study at both the intermediate and bachelors levels. At the intermediate level programs of study are offered in the pre-medical, pre-engineering, computer science, commerce and humanities groups. At the bachelors levels programs of study leading to degrees in Bachelors of Commerce, Bachelors of Science and Bachelors of Arts are offered. In these programs an emphasis is laid not only on the acquisition of knowledge but more importantly on learning how to learn. There is a commitment to the fundamental values of higher education: curiosity, critical thinking, self-reflection, a desire for life-long learning and a concern for creating a more just and peaceful society.
St. Joseph's College also provides extensive co-curricular experiences for students. There are opportunities to develop leadership skills by becoming a member of the student council, heading one of the many societies and clubs or becoming a class representative. You can expand your academic horizons and develop your talents by becoming an active member of one of the many societies and clubs: drama, debates, citizenship, economics, environmental or sociology to name a few. You can develop your athletic and team skills by becoming a member of one of the many intercollegiate athletic teams. You will be encouraged to further your learning by applying it in the community service learning and internship programs.
